A lot of stories told and news spread like fire with the worst issue a product can handle. If you can imagine hundreds of thousands have been recalled due to the fear that those might be one of them, it’s hard to fathom. We’re talking about the worst case of exploding hoverboards. Explosion maybe exaggerating since it’s only fire and no explosion. But is it really the board itself that’s catching fire? Big NO. It’s the lithium ion cells that when overcharged or through impact that causes short circuit then fire! What’s the manufacturer’s assurance that it won’t happen to their boards? (a) The battery cells are safely installed following standard procedures; and (b) The paired charger should have the cut-off mechanism to prevent overcharging. Without this mechanism, you’re safety is at stake.

Unfortunately, chargers are not taking much of any importance or any attention of some manufacturers. Besides, consumers don’t mind too much about them (they even buy fake replacements), instead they looked at the designs and the features. Now that we’re now aware, let’s take it easy. We’ll cover here the good hoverboards that you actually want. The one that don’t explode.
